Pyrotechnics & Explosives

ECBC's pyrotechnics and explosives team provides research and development and limited production of pyrotechnic products to both government and civilian organizations. The team consists of engineers, chemists and technicians skilled in design and production, tooling design and fabrication and modification of standard ammunition. Past projects include the development and testing of smoke grenades and pots, large caliber cannon and gun projectiles and civilian fireworks. The team actively supports military and civilian organizations such as the National Fire Protection Agency, the Federal Bureau of Investigations and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
